First of all, it would be Brock Boeser. Here is a tough winger with a proven track record of goal scoring and he’s able to be responsible. Another type of alternative would be Jordan Kyrou from the St. Louis Blues. When you think of a player of his speed and skill, you began to realize who really benefits the Ottawa Senators. It just goes to show that they are a very deep and well-structured team. Thus, keeping themselves in the playoff picture this late in the season.
In any sense, the Ottawa Senators are team that would love to add some scoring depth for the postseason. However, they do have a few aspects that really hamper their ability to get things done. First of all, it is their depth beyond their top six when it comes to putting in the puck in the net. Yes, they are very good players, but they need to get the job done. Secondly, it does seem like injury problems have snuck up on the Senators when you have a two-week break and names like Jacob Bernard-Docker, Shane Pinto, Joshua Norris and Brady Tkachuk are (at least initially) missing from the lineup. We’re not saying that it is a problem, but it could be a problem. So, how is management going to fix and address such an issue. That will be to be decided.

Enough Elias Pettersson Speculation
The Elias Pettersson speculation has become a leading industry in Vancouver in recent weeks. The Canucks star has had a disappointing season by any measure, though he’s not the only one. Frustration has only increased with the team’s mediocre results, and Pettersson has become a lightning rod for it. Elias Pettersson Speculation a Constant First things first, the media agencies are supposed to cover the news. Just like anywhere else, when a public figure is underperforming, there is going to be questions. Sports have the added complication of fans being very aware of who is doing what, or not doing […]

Canadiens Prospect Owen Beck Looks to Remain in Montreal
The Montreal Canadiens prospect Owen Beck has been enjoying success in his first season after junior. With the Laval Rocket, Beck has registered 32 points in 47 games. This year, however, he has shown that he does have some offensive flare to his game. Therefore, let’s take a look at why Owen Beck will remain a Montreal Canadien down the stretch and not return to Laval. The Montreal Canadiens […]

Amid all the rumours of the trade deadline season, the Ottawa Senators need to shore up their roster if they want to make a concerted effort to reach Lord Stanley’s 2025 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs. We will add, based on their current roster, there is the potential to do this internally if the stars align. However, the Ottawa Senators are taking the necessary steps in becoming a very responsible organization. And with the trade deadline fast approaching, it’ll be interesting to see which moves general manager Steve Staios is ultimately […]

San Jose Sharks Defensive Depth Needs Improvement
The San Jose Sharks have lost their sixth straight game following the two-week break. On top of losing the two games back, they are also struggling more defensively during games. It also does not help that they are down another defenceman. They are currently sitting last in the league and have no momentum to move up the rankings. Sharks Down Defenceman To Start Last Run Of Season Defenc9eman Timothy Liljegren left Sunday’s game against the Calgary Flames in the second period and never returned. At this time he has missed Monday’s game against the Winnipeg Jets due to being evaluated. […]
